Virtual E-Poster PresentationAll successful e-poster presenters must register for the meeting as a delegate. Accepted abstracts for e-poster presentations must complete their e-poster and upload it to the system by 30th September 2021.


  1. All abstract must comply with the Format below.

  1. The abstract should be as informative as possible and include the following details:
    • Introduction: background and specific objective of the study
    • Methods: description of methods used
    • Results: summary of results obtained
    • Conclusion: conclusion reached

    It is not acceptable to simply state like "The results will be discussed"

    Abstracts must meet the following specifications:

    • Abstract title: Limited to 25 words in UPPER CASE
    • Abstract should be accompanied by the authors' names and affiliations.
    • Abstract text: Limited to 350 words (NOT including Authors and Affiliations)
    • Abstract topic: Abstract must be allocated to a specific topic from below :-

      - Knee

      - Shoulder

      - Elbow

      - Hip

      - Foot and Ankle

      - Others

Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended. If otherwise necessary, the latter should be placed in parenthesis after the first mentioned of the full word.

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

You may attach up to 3 figures including graphic and tables, etc. in each abstract submission. The file should be submitted in JPG, PNG or PDF only and the file size should not exceed 2MB.

Ensure that all changes, corrections and proof reading have been carried out before your submission. Once you have submitted, you will not be able to edit the information given.

Successful abstracts may be published in the MAS website unless informed by the applicant that he/she does not want the abstract to be published.


Can I submit more than 1 abstract?

Yes, you may submit more than 1 abstract. The account login you create will allow you to submit multiple abstracts.

Which email should I use to create the account?

When you create your account, the email you use should be the same email for all correspondence and e certificates to be delivered to. For Malaysians, please use the same email address which you use for your CPD points.

What happens if I want to amend my abstracts after I have submitted?

You may amend your abstracts until 15th August 2021, after which you will not able to amend your abstract anymore. The responsibility is on the abstract submitter to ensure that the contents uploaded into the abstract is correct and have been proofread for errors.
